Rüegg SafeFire continuously measures the pressure difference between your living space and the chimney while the fire is burning. If a negative pressure is created by the operation of an extractor hood or ventilation system, which could draw smoke gases into the home, the system intervenes immediately. It automatically switches off the relevant appliances or controls window openers until the pressure is balanced again and safety is assured. Operation is fully automatic and requires no user intervention.
In addition to safety, the system offers the highest technical efficiency. SafeFire has been fully tested to EN and DiBt standards and impresses with extremely low standby consumption. In combination with the CloudFire combustion control, the system uses shared components such as temperature sensors and the Rüegg app, which reduces material usage and costs. All high-quality components are designed so that, in the event of a fault, they can be replaced while installed, guaranteeing you a future-proof solution together with the long spare parts warranty.
